Espresso Drink Recipes
All espresso drink recipes are based on 12 ounce cups.
Latte
- Steam your
milk making sure to create some foam
- Once
it reaches the right temperature, pull 2 shots of espresso (If you're
adding flavors, add them to your cup and then when espresso has brewed,
pour it in and stir with flavors)
- As soon as espresso is brewed pour into ceramic mug
- Pour in hot milk allowing foam to pour smoothly
- When the mug is full, you should have about an inch of foam
on the top of your latte
Iced Latte
- Fill your cup halfway with cold milk (If you're adding
flavors, add them here and stir in with milk)
- Pull 2 shots of espresso
- As soon as espresso has brewed, pour it in with the milk
- Stir them until well mixed
- Add ice to the top of your cup
Cappuccino
- Fill your steam pitcher 1/3 with milk. NO more
than halfway full.
- Steam your
milk by placing the steam wand just below the milk
surface
- As the milk heats and exands, slowly bring the pitcher down
to keep the wand just below the milk
- Once the milk has reached the right temperature (140-160
degrees), stop steaming. You should have a lot of foam
- Pull 2 shots of espresso
- Pour the espresso into your ceramic mug
- Use a spoon to push foam into the mug until it is full 1-2
inches from the top
- Fill the rest with steamed milk
Macchiato
- Follow the directions for steaming milk for a Cappuccino
- Pull 2 shots of espresso
- Pour the espresso into your ceramic mug
- Place 1-2 spoonfulls of foam on top of the espresso
Red Eye
- Pull 2 shots of espresso
- Pour the espresso into your ceramic mug
- Fill the rest with the coffee of your choice'
Cafe Au Lait
- Steam your
milk of your choice being sure to create some foam
- Fill your ceramic mug with the coffee of your choice about
2/3 full
- Smoothly pour in steamed milk allowing some foam
Americano
- Pull 2 shots of espresso
- Pour the shots into your ceramic mug
- Fill the rest with very hot water
